How good is Tidal, Jay-Z’s terrible Spotify alternative, doing? So good that the Jigga Man himself got on Twitter this morning to offer a series of cheerfully earnest #TidalFacts and defend the service against unnamed foes “spending millions on a smear campaign.”

In the tweets, Jay-Z seems to fundamentally misunderstand what the company is: a streaming service that’s great for him and his famous pals but which, in its current incarnation at least, sucks for people who like hearing music.

An infrequent Twitterer, a full 6 percent of Jay’s messages on the site are now about how his company isn’t as bad as everybody says, a #TidalFact that doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
