We’ve entered the White Supremacy Mad Libs portion of the election, which means you should expect sentences like “Donald Trump just disavowed his longtime butler because he said Obama should be hanged.”

The “disavowal” comes after yesterday’s report that Anthony “Tony” Senecal, who looks like what you would draw if your Pictionary clue were “evil white man,” has a history of writing racist and violent things about the president on Facebook. This matters because Tony Senecal is also a longtime friend of Donald’s—in a recent profile, the New York Times wrote that “over the decades, he has grown close to the Trump family.” That closeness could be nearing an end: “Tony Senecal has not worked at Mar-aLago for years, but nevertheless we totally and completely disavow the horrible statements made by him regarding the President,” a Trump campaign spokesperson tells ABC.

At odds with this statement is not only the Times report on Senecal’s status with the Trump family, but also Trump’s long history of associating with deeply shitty people.
