Tokio Hotel As Beguiling/Not That Good As Expected

Richard Lawson · 02/20/08 01:28PM

The New York Times review of last night's Tokio Hotel (German sensations, androgynous superheroes) concert managed to make it to the front page of their website. Seems our strange little friends (or are they just mine?) are making a big impact in the only country where music really matters! It also seems that critic Kelefa Sanneh, while maybe not loving the show as a whole, got sucked in by the strange magnetism that lead singer Bill Kaulitz seems to exude: "If this concert was oddly delightful from start to finish, thank Bill Kaulitz, who should, with any luck, be thrilling and perplexing young Americans for the rest of the year." Delightful indeed! [NYT] After the jump, ANOTHER video in case you're not yet convinced.
