Howard Stern's longtime sidekick, Quivers is the woman whose mere presence allows the shock jock to get away with his never-ending parade of offensive comments about women and black people.

Before taking her turn in broadcasting, Quivers completed a degree in nursing from the University of Maryland, and served a three-year stint in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, Quivers changed directions and enrolled in the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. In 1981, after two years on her own as a reporter in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, Quivers was played a tape of Howard Stern interviewing a prostitute on air. Captivated, she immediately requested a meeting with the DJ, and the rest is history. No strangers to controversy and FCC fines, they've been making people uncomfortable for over 20 years now.

Quivers also penned a best-selling memoir in ‘95, Quivers: A Life, that chronicles her extremely unpleasant sounding childhood. In the memoir, she recounts memories of her verbally and psychologically abusive mother and her sexually abusive father (really the worst possible combo).

In 2007, Quivers dramatically changed her lifestyle and became a strict vegan. She is vocal proponent of the switch, and credits both the Master Cleanse and veganism as part of her 70-pound weight loss. She currently resides in Manhattan.
