Michael T.

Who
Party promoter Michael T., erstwhile host of the legendary "Motherfucker" parties, is a DJ and NYC clubland fixture.
Backstory
A Washington Heights native, Michael has been clubbing since the mid-'80s when he was a regular at the Palladium. It wasn't until the early '90s, though, that he started promoting (he publicized a new wave/goth/alternative party called "NY Nights"), and he later joined a band called Killer Lipstick and held a regular DJ gig at Webster Hall. In 2000, he co-founded the promotion team Motherfucker, joining up with Justine D. (for Delaney), Georgie Seville, and Johnny T. (real last name: Yerington). Named after the now shuttered Meatpacking District club Mother, the foursome spent close to seven years throwing Motherfucker parties, which were held on public holidays at packed venues like the Roxy, Spirit and Heaven. Alas, in December 2007 it was announced that Motherfucker is no more. (Apparently, there were mounting tensions between the group's members.) Michael, however, will continue to co-host the monthly Rated X/The Panty Party at Don Hills with Theo Kogan, where revelers drink and dance in their skivvies.
For the record
His last name doesn't begin with T. According to Uncle S.—as in Uncle Sam—his real name is Michael Dwyer.
Personal
Michael lives on the Lower East Side, and is currently single, though he does admit on his MySpace page to enjoying occasional "bathroom sex with hot guys who wear cowboy boots." All his late night partying and bathroom sex explains why he's ghostly pale—he hasn't seen daylight in years. His pallor is accented by hyper-dramatic makeup, creating a style that's a cross between drag queen and Dracula.
