We'll admit it, we love weight-loss shows, whether it's celebrities getting fit or Shaq abusing chubby kids or ordinary people eating lots of Subway and going through truly annoying challenges. Tonight, another cycle ends.

WATCH

The Biggest Loser [8 PM, NBC] - It's the two-hour live finale and while we have not reached our weight loss goals for the year, we're happy to watch attention-starved former fatties compete for the ultimate prize. The main reason we will be watching is to see whether America voted for submissive Ed or his manipulative, grating wife, Heba, to make it back as the third finalist. Ed purposefully gained weight in the last week to ensure that Heba would be closer to a spot in the final, but it backfired bigtime. Hopefully, beaten-down husbands everywhere have united this past week to max out their votes and push Ed into the finals.

Talk Shows:
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart [11 PM, Comedy Central] - Philip Seymour Hoffman
Late Show with David Letterman [11:35 PM, CBS] - Tom Cruise
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno [11:35 PM, NBC] - Jim Carrey
Three of our most important - for various and nefarious reasons - male actors hit the desk-side chairs to plug their films. Luckily, you can watch PSH without flipping channels, but we'll be erring more on the Cruise than the Carrey.

Sex Change Hospital [9 PM/10 PM, WE] - Back to back episodes of your favorite sex change series. For the uninitiated, the program is based out of the 'Sex Change Capital of the World' (Trinidad, Colorado), and more specifically, out of the office of Dr. Marci Bowers (formerly Mark Bowers). Rather than focusing on gruesome surgery footage, each hour-long segment follows the emotional journey of its patients and their families. In the first hour, an electrical engineer transitions into a woman. In the second episode, a post-op patient returns to fix a bothersome implant. These are repeats, sure, but they are worth a watch.

How to Make an American Quilt [10:30 PM, HBO-F] - There was so much promise in early career Winona Ryder, and the producers were smart to combine her pale, wide-eyed idealism with the wisdom of Anne Bancroft, Ellen Burstyn, Alfre Woodard, Kate Capshaw and Maya Angelou. Watch a bunch of menopausal quilting chicks smoke joints and recount tales of their early romances. Oh, and Dermot Mulroney steams us the screen, as usual.

According to Jim [9 PM, ABC] - Jogging enthusiast Steve Guttenberg guest-stars as the star of a movie that Jim (Jim Belushi) tries to get his kids cast in. Here's a recipe we've eaten too often: Boorish dad forces kids into something, butts heads with people, kids and wife get mad at him, 1 tsp. Nutmeg, and everything is fine at the end. The world is rapidly warming and this is our response. Go humans! It's your doomsday!

Momma's Boys [10 PM, NBC] - Three men who would be totally plain and boring without a TV show around them sit back at 32 women vie for their everlasting love. RECORD SCRATCH! Those ladies won't be alone because those dudes moms will be there. Oh no executive producer Ryan Seacrest didn't! Well, he did, and we choose to flip past it.
