Happy Yeeeee-Hawlidays!

Everyone celebrates the holidays differently, but within two hours you can see a pair of lesbian teens deciding their future and Tom Arnold profile redneck yuletides. Only on cable, kids, only on cable.
WATCH
The 12 Days of Redneck Christmas [9 PM, CMT] - Tom Arnold follows around "redneck" families during their Christmas preparations. Possibly the first holiday special named after a Jeff Foxworthy parody song, we are still not sure if this is glorifying or making fun of the individuals documented. Has the "redneck" community just accepted the term or have they used it to empower themselves? These are questions for Gawker Media's new backwoods-interest blog, Degreaser.
South of Nowhere [8 PM, The N] - If you haven't been watching this series for the last couple of years, then it's probably too late for you, but we nevertheless recommend that you tune into the hour-long series-finale to see if Spencer (Gabrielle Christian) and Ashley (Mandy Musgave) come to any conclusion about their teenage lesbian relationship. We will grant that you are getting a decent amount of schmaltz with your groundbreaking adolescent gay relationship, but this is your last chance and it's Friday so absolutely nothing else is on.

The Benchwarmers [9 PM, FX] - This movie has about 15 good jokes and we are huge Nick Swardson fans, so we skip through most of the other parts to his scenes as an agoraphobic, well, really just straight-up-weird member of the underdog baseball team. In this film which Nick co-wrote, some guys (David Spade, Rob Schneider and Jon Heder) try to prove themselves by forming a three-player baseball team to play against little league squads. Swardson. Seriously.
Late Show with David Letterman & The Late Late Show [11:35, 12:35, CBS] - Worldwide Pants Productions throws a decent Friday night toofer at us. Dave welcomes Meryl Streep for some overly breathy talk, but we are more excited about his old buddy Jeff Altman. It's really very sad that one of Dave's other old friends, George Miller, is no longer with us, because his spots were small treasures. Then, Ferguson gives Carrie Fisher some time to throw down more disconnected anecdotes.

Greatest Holiday Moments: Songs of the Season Countdown [8 PM, NBC] - Really? Really. A special that counts down the best TV performances of Christmas songs. Really. Who doesn't love a show that is a list of moments from other shows? Save your holiday fun for It's a Wonderful Life. NBC shows that on Saturday night.
