It's another big-time star on 30 Rock this week. No, we're not only talking about Jack McBrayer, but also Kennedy Center honoree/banjo enthusiast/author/Marcia Brady rejecter Steve Martin. With NBC's guest-star wattage reaching capacity, it's no wonder Ben Silverman had to remove a couple shows from the grid. WATCH 30 Rock [9:30 PM, NBC] - First Oprah, then Jennifer Aniston, and now that dude from Cheaper by the Dozen 2. This week, Jack (Alec Baldwin) and Liz (Tina Fey) consider a proposal presented by Gavin Volure (Martin), a businessman who finds Liz irresistible. Meanwhile, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) is afraid that his kids are scheming against him.The Money Pit [10:45 PM, Encore] - Remodeling their dream house turns into a nightmare for Tom Hanks and Shelley Long. All of you screenwriters trying to adapt the original Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House for the post-subprime mortgage crisis world should think again, because this remake was as far as we needed to go. Sure, we didn't think this was funny when we were kids, but Hanks's early career broad comedy stylings just get better with age. This kid loves it, though.

Late Show with David Letterman [11:35 PM, CBS] - Stephen Colbert, Kristen Stewart and Super Diamond. "Tribute Bands Week" continues with Super Diamond, a Neil Diamond tribute band. Mr. Brownstone - last night's Guns N' Roses tribute band - rocked the Ed with a hasty version of "Welcome to the Jungle." We're hoping for a deeper cut like "Kentucky Woman," but it'll probably be "Cherry, Cherry" or "Sweet Caroline." TiVo

Road House [8 PM, AMC] - People must be watching this, or else AMC wouldn't show it once every 48 hours. Not that there's anything wrong with this B-movie classic that taught a generation of young men that it's possible to take on an entire corrupt town in the name of protecting a local saloon. Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew [10 PM, VH1] - Since you only care about Gary Busey, let's just talk about what happens to him this week. He gets into a physical fight with Jeff Conway over who sits in the front seat of the van. Everyone is fed up with Gary so Dr. Drew stages a screening of The Buddy Holly Story, in attempt to humanize Busey to his peers. Not sure what's harder, humanizing Busey or getting Jeff Conaway to sit still. KILL Cool Tools [9 PM, DIY] - The season premiere of DIY's attempt to translate Home Improvement into a low-budget reality program. Tool junkie and former Second City improv performer, Chris Grundy, shows us the coolest tools in the world. We're all for actors getting work and paying bills, but these tools are holding back a somewhat talented performer.

The Shaggy Dog [8 PM, Disney] - Another remake of an understated classic, this update features Tim Allen in the Fred MacMurray role, Kristin Davis in the Jean Hagen role and a different dog in the dog role. We prefer the Dennis Dugan-directed 1994 remake with Ed Begley Jr., Scott Weinger, and recently-unfortunate bike enthusiast, James Cromwell.
