Closet 'Big Bang' Watchers Can Safely Interact Here

After a weekend where NBC sent an intimidating message to recently galvanized "Logo viewers" (as "they" are euphemistically referred to in media-savvy red state households), get back to basics with multi-camera sitcoms and early 90's revival casting. WATCH The Big Bang Theory [8 PM, CBS] - Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) thinks he's found his soul mate until his crush (Sara Rue) meets Leonard (Johnny Galecki). TBBT hit a series high in viewers last week and has improved significantly since first season. Rajesh Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) is our favorite character, and his MacBook chats with his family are oddly reminiscent of our own.

Holiday in Handcuffs [9 PM, ABC Family] - If you're dreading going home to your unsupportive family over the holidays, check out this feel-good, made-for-TV, instant classic. Melissa Joan Hart stars as a waitress/artist who kidnaps a customer (Mario Lopez) and takes him home to her disapproving parents for the holidays. Kidnapping on Christmas! Looks like Santa left something subversive in our stockings. Charlie Rose [11:30 PM, KCET] - NBC cancel king Ben Silverman sits down with Charlie for some well-researched, unsuccinctly-phrased questions. One Laptop per Child chairman Nicholas Negroponte is also on. TiVo Gossip Girl [8 PM, CW] - Blair (Leighton Meester) gets pissed off when Cyrus (Wallace Shawn) shakes up the traditional Waldorf family Thanksgiving. Lily (Kelly Rutherford) attempts to negotiate peace between Jenny (Taylor Momsen) and Rufus (Matthew Settle). Eric (Connor Paolo) learns a secret about Bart (Robert John Burke). Not to disagree with Blair, but Wallace Shawn would be an awesome stepfather. We have so many questions about My Dinner with Andre (What was Andre like on-set? Total diva, right?) that things would never get stale.

The Heartbreak Kid[8 PM, HBOCw] - For those of you with the big HBO package who avoided this Farrelly Brothers joint until now, you can suck out the marrow by watching just the Roy Jenkins and Danny McBride (both pictured left) scenes. McBride is nearly Travis Bickle-esque in his distaste for humanity in the film. More McBride here. KILL My Super Sweet 16 [11 PM, MTV] - In a very special episode of MSS16, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em throws an off the chains 18th birthday party at a mansion with A-List performers. If you need to be convinced of just how sweet it will be, check out the party-planning process.

Dear Food Network [9 PM, Food Network] - Giada DeLaurentiis, Alton Brown and Tyler Florence begin the five-day viewer Q & A show about Thanksgiving. These viewer-generated programs are generally not as organized as the course-focused clip shows. People who write into the Food Netowrk strike us as being only slightly less attention-needy than undecided voters.
