'Gossip Girl' Just Wants To Have Fun

Last week, STV laid down the scoop on the Chappelle-Lipton tilt [8 PM, Bravo], but there's other options for when Chappelle goes not crazy. WATCH Gossip Girl [8 PM, CW] - Cyndi Lauper guests on tonight's episode. Blair (Leighton Meester) tries to break up Eleanor (Margaret Colin) and her new boyfriend (Wallace Shawn). Jenny (Taylor Momsen) bunks with Agnes (Willa Holland). Serena (Blake Lively) learns something unsettling about Aaron (John Patrick Amedori). Dan (Penn Badgely) plans to write an expose on Bart (Robert John Burke), which gets him on Chuck's (Ed Westwick) bad side. Normally, we'd cut the plot summary down to our favorite characters, but we like all these people, unlike the 1,476 characters on Heroes.

My Super Sweet 16 [11 PM, MTV] - Tonight, DJ Spinderella (of Salt-N-Pepa fame, as if you didn't know) gives her spoiled daughter a decadent skating-themed birthday party. The best birthday parties we ever had were at skating rinks, but we only got Legos. TiVo

Dead Like Me [8 PM, HDNET] - Anyone getting antsy about the hopefully-not-but-probably-likely demise of Pushing Daisies should check out the reruns of this Bryan Fuller joint. Fuller left the show during the first season, but you can see him working through PD's below-the-surface mortality themes out in the open in this grim reaper procedural. The Hills [10 PM, MTV] - Heidi gets in trouble at work after bringing Spencer along with her. Audrina packs up her shit and moves out of Lo and LC's hate den, hoping that sex predator extraordinaire Justin will move in with her. Next week, the gang discusses Obama's potential economic stimulus package and the executive succession process in the United States. KILL

Lil Wayne's World 2 [8 PM, Fuse] - A show for people who can't get enough of Lil' Wayne. Fuse host Dee guides us through an hour of LW's best videos, cameos and collabos. We respect the work, but an hour is demasiado mucho. Ruby [9 PM, Style] - Series premiere about a 500-pound woman's efforts to lose weight in Savannah. In exchange for exploiting Ruby's struggles, the well-respected Style Network provides her with a psychiatrist, personal trainer and an obesity expert. This must be event TV for the dudes over at the Peabody Awards.
