Making history sure takes a lot out of a country. Re-energize for tomorrow's Sunset Junction Prop 8 protest with some tube. WATCH Elvis Mitchell: Under the Influence [8 PM, TCM] - The former NYT film critic and apparent bank skeptic, interviews actor-writer Edward Norton. After the interview, TCM will air two of Norton's favorite movies: Annie Hall and A Streetcar Named Desire. Odds are, they were going to air those tonight no matter what Norton said, and then tomorrow night, and probably on Sunday, too.

Whale Wars [9 PM, Animal Planet] - Captain Paul Watson and his Sea Shepherd crew set out in the Antarctic to stop Japanese whaling attempts by any means necessary. In the first episode of this documentary series, the Captain questions whether his volunteer crew is ready for such a dangerous mission. No word on a Heroes tie-in, but it's inevitable. TiVo Late Night with Conan O'Brien [12:35 AM, NBC] - After last night's indescribably coy-awkward appearance on Letterman, Vera Farmiga gives it another try on Conan. Ricky Gervais and Chromeo also appear, not together, but we know Ricky has the chops.

Henry Rollins: Uncut from New Orleans [10:30 PM, IFC] - Despite the title, Henry Rollins's lack of a circumcised penis has nothing to do with this show. The former Black Flag frontman visits New Orleans and tries to find answers why the city is still in shambles three years after Hurricane Katrina. If Rollins can't get the info, the Minutemen and Circle Jerks are going in next. KILL CMT Crossroads: Def Leppard and Taylor Swift [9 PM, CMT] - Def Leppard's Joe Elliot and Taylor Swift join forces on each other's songs. We'll admit that we liked the Ryan Adams-Elton John episode of Crossroads, but now it's just getting weird.

City of Angels [8 PM, Bravo] - Nicolas Cage plays an angel who stares a lot at a surgeon (Meg Ryan) who enjoys taking dramatically sensual baths while dragging a cold bottle of beer against her body. It's not the movie that's the problem, really. It's just that when it's broken up by commercial breaks, the ending feels even more unnecessarily cruel to the viewer.
