Olivia Palermo's PR campaign to restore her good name continues! Hot on the heels of her chat with People, Palermo—accompanied by her publicist, naturally—took some time to complain to the LA Times about she's been magically transformed into a villain on MTV's The City. How could such a thing happen? "I'm a much nicer person, much more laid back and relaxed, not serious like they show me," she tells the paper. As for the suggestion she's a flighty young social who spends every evening out on the town, well, if you knew anything about her, you'd understand that's complete nonsense. She's a total homebody:

Nevan and I really don't go out, I don't go out because I have a boyfriend and we really like to stay in and just relax. Nevan goes out on occasion, and when we do spend time together it's honestly eating Chinese food, going to the movies and hanging out. It's nothing too fascinating, but it is fun.

Guess somebody better alert Patrick McMullan that the girl who has appeared in 141 photos over the last 10 weeks is an Olivia impostor! Of course, the fact she's turned into the character people love to hate won't be stopping her from collecting $12,000-an-episode checks to appear in season two. "Once you start something, you don't stop in the middle of it, you follow it through and you hope that it gets better and you try to learn from any mistakes. It's a learning process." For all of us, Olivia, we promise you.
