Local Hollywood Production Keeping News Of Exploding Turbine-Accident Victim Pretty Quiet

The pitch was irresistible: "On the set of a movie that's filming, a guy gets sucked into a jet engine and actually dies!" As was body of the e-mail tease directing us to the footage Wednesday night: "This happened on set last night in sm- do you know which show/film?" No, we do not! How could such a grisly accident transpire and completely escape notice by the media? After the jump, the clip that we urge you not to watch if you are inclined to believe in the authenticity of videos that contain conveniently timed appearances of "static," cuts to black, and suspiciously combustible victims:
For those still skeptical about the amazing thing you've just seen, an anonymous poster on the Break site vouches:
"ON SET ACCIDENT stress ON SET: Yes this is not a real jet plane and like I said this was a TV SHOW set and a stunt rigging went wrong during a roll-camera rehearsal last night. SaMo Airport police sealed it all off and everyone went home. Apparently the dude is in the hospital and alive."
This is indeed good news: Any actor resilient enough to survive a freak accident in which he's shown to explode will probably recover from his injuries in an equally miraculous fashion, saving the production costly shooting delays incurred by missed call times and further payoffs to the Santa Monica airport police to keep things quiet.
