Dina Lohan Pitches Frail, Asthmatic Daughter As Next Kick-Ass Action Hero

Panty-eschewing party starlet Lindsay Lohan has been vocal about her aspirations to graduate from light comedy to the more meaty parts that might better show off her impressive emotional range. But while her idea of stretching is to gravitate to grittier roles that ultimately don't require her to stray very far from her safe-zone, trusted advisor and Queen of the Self-Destruction Enabling Cool Moms, Dina Lohan, wishes her daughter would take a real risk by starring in a Tomb Raider-style action movie:
"I would love to see her in an action movie, like an Angelina Jolie movie," Dina tells Star's David Caplan. "I would like to see her in a kickboxing movie. She could do it."
It's difficult to imagine the chronically asthmatic, exhausted and dehydrated Lohan scampering through a jungle chase sequence, an unlikely scenario that conjures the image of a frustrated director barking through a bullhorn at a crowd of native extras to slow their pursuit to a casual jog, lest they ruin yet another shot by inadvertently catching up to the wheezing heroine. Still, Lohan has demonstrated a facility with impromptu martial arts fighting against no one in particular, a skill which will prove invaluable when she is eventually called upon to attack an imaginary, cyclopean robot against a soundstage green screen.
