Literary blogger and former Floridian Maud Newton notes the following announcement from the Miami New Times:

That's right, the local alternative paper is holding a contest where the prize is breast enlargement! As Newton points out, New Times is the current owner of the Voice. We'd like to make a suggestion to the organization, should they wish to avoid the criticism that their stable of papers is homogenous and unreflective of local mores. Giant cans are all well and good for South Beach, but we think there's a better way to show your commitment to the New York market should you offer this contest in these parts. What we're trying to say is, David Blum, meet Mark Warfel.
