Because we couldn't live with ourselves if we sent you off for the weekend without knowing whether or not Britney Spears is actually going to travel to Namibia for the birth of her next child, we pass along this Official Publicist Denial from the AP's follow-up to their earlier story:

"Not true," Spears' New York-based publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, said in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Zelnik did not immediately elaborate.

We're now forced to wonder if media-savvy Deputy Environment and Tourism Minister Leon Jooste actually exists, or if that's a pseudonym adopted by a clever Namibian e-mail scammer seeking to lure pregnant celebrities to Africa and slowly drain their bank accounts. Which, quite frankly, sounds like a pretty brilliant idea.
