In following with Britney Spears' announcement on the solidity of her marriage and her fitness as a mother, today's theme of "Celebrities Desperately Trying To Change The Negative Public Image They've Worked So Hard To Earn Day" continues with the leaking of yet more choice nuggets from Harper's Bazaar's interview with Lindsay Lohan, hitting newsstands June 20:

"I don't need to do any more kid movies," she says. "The word 'kid' makes you feel like a child. Someone I dated called me 'kid' all the time. I hated that."

She also wants to be recognized for her acting, not her reported wild-child behavior.

"People like to think that just because I'm young and like to enjoy my life, I'm some crazy party girl," she says. "I hate the term 'party girl' — I hate it.

"I'm in this career for the longevity of it, not just for doing everything too fast and then running out of steam.

A heavy-eyelided Lohan barely had enough energy to finish that last thought, never quite hitting the "m" of "steam" as she trailed off mid-word. She then excused herself, citing her "pea-sized" bladder, returning moments later entirely rejuvenated and ready to chat more about her inspiring, career-oriented endurance.
