In Their Defense, It Is Hard to Identify the Stars of 'Friends'
It's early and we've yet to snort our morning lines of Folgers, so we were highly confused when we saw the picture above with the caption, "Marta Kauffman, right, in October 2002, on the set of her previous
hit sitcom, 'Friends,' with Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer." Surely, we thought, both David Schwimmer AND Marta Kaufman have not turned into perky young actresses.
Admittedly, it took us about 30 seconds too long to scroll further down the page, at which point all became clear: It's two caption fuck-ups in one teensy little article — kinda like the Post, at four times the price. The Rupertization of the media knows no end, does it?
