We love it when The New York Times lowers itself to cover something as gross as home shopping; it can't help but use phrases like "doodads," "Everywoman" and "shellacked pieces of driftwood." Today's look at how the other 99.9 percent live is a feature about Jeanne Bice, a woman who sells sweaters with little sheep on them. (No, really.) She also has a book called "Pull Yourself Up by Your Bra Straps," which sounds like a self-help book by David Gest but isn't.

"I'm a big-mouthed, bawdy woman," she said. "I always was the fat kid, and I always have been the fat adult. That has worked for me, because people see me as just another woman who has figured out how to make it in life."

Actually, that part could be David Gest as well.
