Trump Atones For Inept Apprentices

In a story for MSNBC, Reality Blurred's Andy Dehnart describes Donald Trump's clumsy attempts to atone for his Apprentices' continuing retardation in marketing the products of his show's deep-pocketed sponsors. Last night's show featured an Apprentice staple, the hilariously obvious, mismatched voiceover, in which The Donald threw a compensatory bone to the latest advertiser to have its reality-integrated campaign bungled by the Little Trump Urban Achievers:
While giving the teams their instructions, which involved working with clothing retailer American Eagle, Donald Trump offered a few curious words of advice. "And speaking of last week's task, here's something you didn't know," he said. "Both teams created meatball pizza. But if you'd done your market research like Domino's did, you would have discovered that customers don't want meatball pizza. What they want is cheeseburger pizza. The lesson: Always pay attention to your customer." [...]
This segment was followed by a new Domino's pizza commercial that stars Donald Trump; in the rather witty ad, he mocks his overblown persona and orders a cheeseburger pizza and then pretends to come up with the idea for the pizza himself.
As inelegant as this was, it was far preferable to Trump's reparation for the Dove Body Wash Fiasco of a few weeks ago; after the Apprentices failed to shoot a watchable commercial for the liquid soap, Trump starred in a short film in which he was lathered up by henchman George while delivering a monologue about the product's refreshing scent and moisturizing qualities.
