Proof that books, like, do something besides make us targets for bullies in the cafeteria. The New York Post is reporting that Disney muckety-mucks may actually be proffering resignations over James B. Stewart's DisneyWar: The Battle for the Magic Kingdom, which is scheduled to be released in March.

As Tim Arango writes:

The material was believed to be so damaging to Eisner that public relations exec Zenia Mucha offered to resign an offer that Eisner refused. Sources said the move was spurred by the anticipated negative public relations, and that as department head she felt she should take the fall. Both top executives cooperated with Stewart on the book.

Can't you just picture Eisner tearing the galley into shreds that then turn into tiny versions of the book, which he then tears into smaller pieces that in turn become smaller books...

The fantasia of reading! (Cue: thunder clap.)
